Q+A

When do I need to RSVP by?

Kindly RSVP by September 8 2024 through the RSVP page on this website, or by emailing us at: thecoralieandjamesmerger@gmail.com

If we do not directly hear from you by then, we will miss you on the day!

Can I bring a plus one?

The invitation is addressed specifically to those whose names are written on your invite. If a plus one is included, it will be mentioned on the invitation. We hope you understand and look forward to celebrating with you!

Are children allowed?

We kindly request that you take this as a night off and enjoy the celebration as an adults-only event. Please make arrangements to leave the little ones at home.

what are the logistics in place for parking and accessbility?

If you are catching a passenger ferry to the island from the CBD ferry terminal, a wide variety of parking options are available. We recommend you park in the Downtown car park at 31 Customs Street West.

Mudbrick has parking available if you are planning on bringing a car.

Having close family at our wedding is of utmost importance to us, hence why we have decided to have our wedding in New Zealand. For our elderly guests, limited parking is available directly next to the ceremony area. This parking will be 10 steps away from the seating. Please let us know in advance if you need to use this option.

what should i get you both as a gift?

Instead of pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, mugs, mats, appliances, toasters or towels, we would greatly appreciate contributions towards our future adventures. If you would like to give a gift, a bank transfer or cash in our wishing well would be wonderful.

What happens if I am late?

If you have arrived after 4:15 PM and the ceremony has commenced, you must wait until the end of the ceremony to join the guests at the 5:00 PM cocktail hour.

what is the dress code?

Please DO NOT wear white, ivory, gold, cream, or champagne, as those colours are reserved for the bridal party.

If you would like to dress to the wedding colours, then forest green, pink and earthy tones are a winner! Steer clear from red, blue and black to avoid clashing!

Can I wear white?

Please DO NOT wear white, ivory, gold, cream, or champagne, as those colours are reserved for the bridal party. If you need guidance, please refer to the dress code page. Thank you for ensuring you look fabulous!

where can i stay on the island?

If you wish to stay on the island, plenty of options are available, some of which we have listed on the Accommodation page.

how do i get to and from the venue?

Waiheke Island is a quick 30-minute ferry ride away from Auckland CBD. Please arrange your own ferry journey to and from the island.

There is a taxi terminal at Matiatia Ferry Terminal, which you can use. To ensure your timely arrival, you can also pre-book taxis in advance.

We have arranged a shuttle departing from Mudbrick at 10:30 PM to transport guests back to the ferry terminal for the 11:00 PM Fullers Ferry.

For those wishing to stay on the island or depart before 10:30 PM, please arrange a taxi to pick you up from Mudbrick Vineyard. Taxis must be pre-booked in advance

Is there Uber on the Island?

No.
